Chantal_Tootsie

heureusement pour eux, ces pauvres petites bêtes reprennent leur véritable couleur ....

Wim van der Meij

See you next year Sid. Have a good time!

Liang

poor chicks, but they do paint them in great color and detailed!

ayie

you have a very extensive cover on this subject, impressive.

Off again Sidney? You take care and see you again ok!

Antonette

Gosh. I really missed this part when I was kid. The first time I saw it was when I was like 22? :))

So did you get any? :D

John

I suppose some of them survive to adulthood, I wonder what proportion?

JJ

Another wonderful series of shots

joshi daniel

everybody seems to be enjoying with the chicks. anyway have a nice holidays!

Standley

Enjoy your break Sidney.
See you next year then!

Joëlle

Tu sais comme j'aime tes portraits Sidney et bien ça se confirme une fois de plus :-)

Xerophytes

It's a great difference. A sad chick but offers a great smile to its owner.

david

well, it's just a fact of life. humans are cruel a lot of the time, especially when it comes to "lesser species" but then, is it any more cruel than killing and cooking it?

Major Tom

Very cute chicks but I wonder if this would redound to animal cruelty ;-) Anyway, I used to buy mayas when I was in elementary, they often escaped from my tie or just die tsk,tsk...

SYDNEY THIS WONDERFUL SERIES CONTINUES TO AMAZE AND MOVE ME:) FABULOUS!!!

Otto K.

wonderful and sad series. I wonder how many little chicks get squished by the kids.

yiannis krikis

Wim van der Meij

Living play-animals - are they being fed I wonder..

buntagphoto

So this is what you get your kid when you can't purchase any canaries, I suppose.

dennis

Very nice portraits Sidney! I wonder how many chicks end up being colored and end up as 1-day old chicks!

didier

Heidi

Are these little birds really colored? But why? Are they not just cute enough in their little yellow coats?!

Ginnie

Since I have never seen this anywhere else, I guess we can be thankful it hasn't caught on???
